Create The Optimal 3D Scanning Environment

Good 3D scans eliminate guesswork. Our Video-to-3D pipeline constructs exactly what it sees in your video.

Checklist:
Dish is well-lit, evenly from above
The dish has a reasonable variety of texture and color
The plate / bowl is a different color than the table
The dish has no translucent nor reflective components
You do not cast shadow on the dish while recording

Capture Every Detail

Place your dish on a fixture you can easily walk around. While recording, make three rotations around the dish, recording at a low, medium, then high angle. Each rotation should last about 20 seconds.

For the final 30 seconds, move your camera closer to capture angles you may have missed. Then you're done!

Checklist:
The dish fills the frame & camera movements are steady
Low Angle: capture the bottom of overhanging elements and the outside of the bowl / plate
Medium Angle: capture the sides of your dish
High Angle: capture the top of your dish

Upload Your Video

From your Cuiscene Dashboard, select "Add Dish" and press upload! Your dish will be added to your library. Within 24-48 hours your 3D model will be ready to view on your menu.
